You don't need a special room or even a basement.   A wine cabinet like these can be installed anywhere.

Here are some cabinets I'm working on that are almost finished. I need to finish up the paint (oil-based), add the base, hang the tall doors, and finish the trim (all of this is part of the installation)

Examples of tile work

Lately, we've been doing a lot of tile work. Here are some pictures. If you have questions about the work, please post a comment.

This first one is a bathroom with glass block and a design incorporating three tile sizes and styles -- in the shower and around the bathtub.

This shower has straight, 12x12 ceramic tile with a decorative element in the center and decorative trim tile along the base.

This kitchen counter backsplash has diagonal tile with square tile decorative elements evenly spaced in the center.

This hallway tile is 12x12.

The tile is this shower is 12x12 with decorate tile along the top. Notice the built in shelves and bench.
